How to send large files from Android
For someone nearby, use Quick Share; for anyone else, upload the file and send a link. Quick Share needs both devices close together with Bluetooth on, and sending to an iPhone or Mac is capped at 10 GB a day. Gmail on Android turns anything over 25 MB into a Drive link.
The limits, in numbers
| Quick Share | Both devices nearby, Bluetooth on | Android Help |
|---|---|---|
| Quick Share to iPhone, iPad or Mac | 10 GB per 24 hours, 1,000 files per session | Android Help |
| Gmail attachment | 25 MB per message | Gmail Help |
| Telegram | 2 GB per file, 4 GB with Premium | Telegram FAQ |
| Yungle, free | Up to 10 GB per transfer, kept 7 days, no account |
Limits from each company’s own help pages, checked on 13 October 2026. They change; the linked page is the authority.
How to send it
- 1Open yungle.co in Chrome on your phone and tap to pick the files or videos.
- 2Stay on Wi-Fi if you can; large videos use a lot of mobile data.
- 3Send by email or copy the link into any chat app.
Questions, answered.
Ask us something elseWhy is my video blurry after I sent it?
Chat apps compress videos sent as media to save space. A transfer link delivers the original file at full quality.
Can I send from Android to an iPhone?
Quick Share can, within its daily limit and with both online. A link works on any phone and needs nothing installed.
Do I need an app?
No. Yungle works in the phone’s browser, and the recipient needs no app or account either.
