How big a file can I send for free?

Does Yungle have an API like Filemail?

Yes: a documented REST API with signed webhooks, a command-line client, and a hosted MCP server an AI assistant connects to with one sign-in. Transfers, contacts and webhooks work on the free tier; collections need a paid plan.

Are files encrypted?

Always. Every file is encrypted with its own key before it is written to storage, and you can choose end-to-end encryption for a transfer, where the key never leaves your browser.
