Can I password-protect a OneDrive link for free?

According to Microsoft, passwords and expiry dates on sharing links are only available to Microsoft 365 subscribers. On Yungle a password is free, and free transfers expire after 7 days.

Does the recipient need a Microsoft account?

Not with Yungle. They open the link and download.

Do I need to move my files out of OneDrive?
