Do I have to stop using Google Drive?

Does the recipient need a Google account?

Not with Yungle. They open the link and download — no account with anyone.

Why does it matter that Google is a US company?

US law can compel a US company to hand over data it controls, even when that data is stored in Europe. Yungle is run by a European company on servers in Germany.
