How to send a file over 100 GB
Over 100 GB, check two things first: that the service takes a single file that size, and how long your connection needs. At 100 Mbps it is under 3 hours; at 20 Mbps, almost 14. OneDrive takes up to 250 GB per file, and on a Yungle paid plan one transfer can be as large as your storage.
Where a file this size fits

| Google Drive | 5 TB per file | Google Drive Help |
| Google Drive daily upload cap | 750 GB per user per day | Google Workspace Admin Help |
| Dropbox in a browser | Uploads over 375 GB may time out | Dropbox Help Center |

How to send it
- 1Work out the upload time with your real upload speed; if it is days, a drive in the post may be faster.
- 2Use a wired connection, turn off sleep, and start the upload when you will not need the line.
- 3Upload with the Yungle app or command-line tool and send the link when it completes.
Questions, answered.
Ask us something elseIs posting a hard drive faster than uploading?
For 100 GB on a 20 Mbps line, possibly: the upload takes most of a day. On 100 Mbps or faster, uploading is usually quicker than a courier, and nothing gets lost in the post.
Will my upload survive a dropped connection?
On Yungle it resumes from the last finished part. On services that do not resume, a drop at 90% means starting again.
Can the recipient download only part of it?
A single 100 GB file downloads as one file. If people only need some of it, send a folder of smaller files instead, so each can be downloaded on its own.
