How long will it take to upload?
Upload time is file size divided by upload speed, and the upload speed is the number that matters. Most home broadband uploads far slower than it downloads. On a 20 Mbps upload, 10 GB takes about 1 hour 24 minutes, and on 100 Mbps about 17 minutes. Put in your own numbers below.

Questions
Ask us something elseWhy is my upload slower than my internet speed?
Broadband is usually sold by its download speed, and upload is often a fraction of it, sometimes a tenth. Wi-Fi, other devices on the line and protocol overhead take a further share, which is why this calculator assumes 80% of the speed you enter.
How do I find my upload speed?
Run any speed test and read the upload figure, in megabits per second (Mbps). Run it on the same connection and device you will upload from: a phone on Wi-Fi and a laptop on a cable can differ a lot.
What happens if the connection drops halfway?
That depends on the service. Yungle uploads are resumable: a dropped connection picks up from the last completed part rather than from zero, which matters most on exactly the long uploads this calculator is for.
