How to send large CAD and 3D model files
Send the whole project folder as one transfer, not single files. An assembly or a linked model depends on the parts and references next to it, and email caps a message at 20 to 35 MB. A transfer keeps the folder structure, so the recipient opens it the way you saved it.

How to send it
- 1Pack the project: most CAD apps have a “pack and go” or “archive project” command that gathers every referenced part.
- 2Drop the folder on yungle.co. The folder structure is kept, so links between files still resolve.
- 3Add the recipient’s email or copy the link, and send. They download it as a zip with the folders in place.

Assemblies reference other files by path. Send the parts with it, in the same folders, ideally packed with your CAD app’s own archive command, so every reference resolves on the other side.
Should I convert to STEP or STL before sending?
Send the native files when the recipient uses the same software, so nothing is lost. Send STEP when they use something else, and STL only for 3D printing, which keeps the shape but not the design history.
Are confidential designs safe in a transfer?
