Send big files straight from Gmail and Outlook
Attachment too big? Click the Yungle button in the email you’re writing. The files upload, a link drops into your message, and you hit send. Up to 10 GB free, always encrypted, stored in the EU.
A Yungle button in the email you’re writing.
In Gmail or Outlook on the web, click the Yungle button in your draft and pick the files. They upload in the background, and when they’re done a download link drops into your message. You send the email as you always do.
- Works in Gmail and Outlook on the web
- Up to 10 GB per transfer on the free plan
- Your recipients just click a link — no account, no app
Or send from any tab.
The toolbar button opens Yungle beside the page you’re on. Drop files, get a link or email it to someone, and keep browsing while it uploads. Large uploads keep going even when you look away, and a notification tells you when they’re ready.
It doesn’t read your email.
Installing the extension asks for access to yungle.co only. Gmail and Outlook are asked for separately, and only when you turn the compose button on. Even then, all it does is write one link into the message you’re typing, when you ask it to.
- No access to your inbox until you switch the button on
- Never reads your messages or contacts
- Files are always encrypted and stored in Germany
Good to know
- Desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers, and Firefox. There is no Safari version, and browser extensions don’t run on phones.
- The compose button works in Gmail and Outlook on the web, not in the Outlook or Apple Mail desktop apps.
- You sign in with a Yungle account (free). Transfers sent from the extension follow the same limits as the website.
Questions, answered.
Ask us something elseIs the extension free?
Yes. It works with a free Yungle account, and sends up to 10 GB per transfer that stays available for 7 days. A paid plan raises those limits and keeps files for as long as you like.
Which browsers does it work in?
Chrome and other Chromium browsers such as Edge and Brave install it from the Chrome Web Store, and Firefox from Firefox Add-ons. Safari isn’t supported yet.
Does it read my email?
No. It only gets access to Gmail or Outlook if you turn the compose button on, and then it only writes the download link into the message you’re writing. It never reads your inbox, your messages or your contacts.
Do my recipients need the extension?
No. They get a normal link and download in any browser, with no account and no app.
